Before and After: Two-Story Pool Cage in Largo
A two-story pool cage in Largo, built around the homeowner's exact vision. See how the right approach and attention to detail brought it all to life.
Introduction
We recently completed a beautiful two-story screen enclosure in Largo, Florida. This project showcases how a thoughtful, professional approach and attention to detail can bring even the most specific ideas to life.
Client’s request
The homeowner had been considering several companies but told us that our professionalism stood out from the start. What made this project unique was the client’s clear vision: they wanted to replace their previous sloped-roof enclosure with a modern, flat-roof design — while keeping the two-story layout.
Project challenges
Two-story enclosures come with their own set of challenges — from structural reinforcement to added wind-load considerations. To ensure maximum stability and durability, we used 10 support cables strategically placed throughout the structure. Additionally, K-braces were installed on the flat roof near the side walls to provide extra support and rigidity. These reinforcements are essential for tall structures like this one, especially in Florida’s weather conditions, and they allowed us to maintain a clean, open look without compromising safety or strength.
