Before and after: replacing an old pool cage with a stunning upgrade

A family in Naples reached out to us looking to upgrade their pool cage. The old structure, installed over 20 years ago, no longer met their needs in terms of functionality or appearance. They decided it was time for a modern, stylish replacement.

Client’s request

One of the key requests was a pool enclosure that would provide a clear, panoramic view of the surrounding area, often called a Picture View. The client took a meticulous approach when selecting a company for the project, inviting three different contractors to provide measurements and proposals. After comparing their options, they chose us due to our attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to offer a customized design that perfectly met their vision.

Project challenges

During the design phase, the primary focus was on creating two walls with panoramic Picture View. To help the client visualize their options, we prepared several design sketches, from which they selected the one that best suited their preferences.

Another unique aspect of this project was the height of the pool cage, which required careful calculations during both the design and installation phases. The increased height presented certain challenges, but our team successfully managed them, ensuring the structure’s stability and durability.

Type of Mesh and Roof

For this project, we used Super Screen 17/20, known for its exceptional strength and durability. This mesh is highly resistant to wind loads, provides excellent visibility, and requires minimal maintenance.

The roof was designed in a mansard style, which added extra interior space and visually enhanced the height of the entire structure, giving it a more open and sophisticated appearance.
