Screen Repair & Rescreening Cost in Florida
The repair market isn’t always transparent. Mesh-only replacement and structural repair follow completely different pricing logic – here’s how to understand which category your project falls into.
Important: Online we can provide only a budget estimate. An accurate price is possible only after a free on-site measurement – without a site visit we cannot assess the foundation, actual dimensions, or local permit requirements.

Which repair do you need?
Each scenario has its own pricing logic. Mesh-only and structural repair are entirely different in cost – identify your case first.
Frame is in good condition – only the mesh needs replacing. The most predictable scenario with clear pricing ranges.
$75 – $4,500+
Corroded anchors, bent sections, or damaged door frames alongside worn mesh. A comprehensive approach that saves money vs. separate visits.
$1,400 – $8,000+
Bent aluminum, damaged anchors, compromised structural members after a hurricane. May shift from repair into partial or full rebuild.
$3,000 – $20,000+
Mesh-only replacement: price guide
These ranges apply when your frame is in excellent condition. Materials, labor, and standard mesh are all included.
| Repair type | Price range | Description |
Single panel |
$75 – $200 |
One damaged or torn panel replaced |
Partial rescreen |
$200 – $900 |
Several panels in one section |
Walls only |
$1,000 – $2,200 |
All wall panels, roof untouched |
Roof only |
$1,200 – $2,500 |
Roof panels only, walls untouched |
Full rescreen |
$1,200 – $4,500+ |
Complete replacement of all panels |
Large / complex cage |
$3,000 – $8,000+ |
Two-story, large span, or premium mesh |
These prices apply to mesh-only rescreening. As soon as corroded anchors, damaged frame, or door issues are found, the estimate moves beyond these ranges. Actual rescreening quotes may be $3,000-$5,000; full rebuilds can reach $20,000+.
What shapes your repair price
Two projects that look identical can have very different costs. Here are the real factors.
If the frame is sound, repair is just rescreening. Corrosion, weakened beams, bent sections, or base connection issues turn a simple repair into restoration – or a full replacement discussion.
More panels, greater height (two-story cages require scaffolding), and difficult site access all increase the cost. Premium mesh choices also add to the total.
An existing legal slab is one of the biggest cost-reducing factors. A new foundation, slab extension, or demolition significantly increases the estimate and requires separate permits.
Worn door hardware – closers, hinges, rollers, and spline – always affects the final estimate and should be addressed during the same visit to avoid a second service call.
After a storm the problem isn’t just torn mesh. Bent aluminum, damaged anchors, and structural viability all affect the estimate. Many Florida policies exclude or cap open enclosure coverage.
Minor mesh-only repairs may not require a permit in some counties. Structural repairs, modifications, and rebuild work typically do – with associated fees and inspection timelines.

A visit reveals the frame.
We can give an approximate range online if you send photos and dimensions. But an accurate price requires a free on-site visit – because hidden issues change everything:
- Hidden corrosion not visible in photos
- County permit requirements for your scope
- Frame geometry and structural integrity
- Whether we can guarantee the repair long-term
- Condition of base anchors and connections
- Whether repair or full replacement is the smarter investment
